DONOR ADVISED GRANTS
In partnership with its charitable fund holders, the Laguna Beach Community Foundation engages in grant-making. The Laguna Beach Community Foundation has 37 charitable funds.
In 2014 due to the generosity of our Charitable Fund donors, the Community Foundation has contributed over $684,000 through 114 grants to nonprofit organizations in Laguna Beach and across the United States. The majority of our 2014 grant recipients are local nonprofit organizations serving Laguna Beach area residents.
We are pleased to be continuing our 3-year partnership with the Massen Greene Foundation, who in 2014 provided grants supporting environment, ecological and disaster prevention projects.
The Laguna Beach Community Foundation has shifted its grant making, concentrating its resources on established partnerships and collaborating on strategic initiatives that support our funding strategies through donor directed granting.
